The Multiplexers proposed by Pizzi Instruments are essential accessories in large monitoring projects where there is the need to acquire data from a large number of instruments. With these multiplexers it is in fact possible to expand the number of channels connected to our data acquisition unit CUM3000 up to a maximum 480 per control unit; they can be vibrating wire, analog or digital (RS485) sensors, and all separated galvanically through a relay in a nitrogen environment.
Multiplexers are available 2, 3 or 4 ways depending on the type of sensors to connect; all channels are protected against overvoltage by transzorber.
Used to increase the number of sensors connected to our dataloggers in:
- Structural monitoring
- Geotechnical monitoring
- Tests on piles
- Laboratory tests
- For any application where there are analog, vibrating wire and/or digital sensors (with known protocol)
